Learn Traditional Irish Music in Greater Boston
Founded in 1997 as part of the Reynolds-Hanafin-Cooley Branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, our school offers group lessons in traditional Irish music for children, teens and adults — from complete beginners to advanced players — with a world-class faculty of professional Irish musicians.

About the school
A living tradition, taught by professionals
We teach in person in Medford on Mondays and in Milton on Wednesdays, with online classes over Zoom on Saturday mornings from 9am to 12 noon EST — so you can join from anywhere in the world. Classes run at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
Our faculty of professional Irish musicians teaches fiddle, tin whistle, flute, button accordion, concertina, uilleann pipes, harp, banjo, mandolin, guitar accompaniment and bodhrán, along with traditional Irish song and the Irish language.
